Here at Barberella we really want you to love your hair. Or, at least like it as much as possible. Whether you want natural hair, natural looking hair or something funky and fun, we start each appointment with plenty of communication.
Be realistic. Is your hair anything like that picture you want to show me? We love pictures as communication tools but look more closely at your selections. Does the persons hair type resemble yours? At least in length and texture? We all want great hair, but most of us have to balance desire with practicality.
Talk, then listen. Don't be shy. If you have always thought about a big (or small) change, ask us! We really want you to love your hair so we do our best to communicate the pros and cons ofdaily and long term maintenance and cost.
Keep an open mind and try to forget those previous bad-hair experiences. Just because you went red (or blonde or brunette) ten years ago and it looked bad, doesn't mean that that particular color family will always look bad on you. The difference between a level 5 brown and a level 4 brown can be a lot depending on your complexion. Likewise, a cool red might make you look washed out, whereas a warm red could make your face glow with peachy tones--or vice-versa.
